To properly manage and monitor donations, members’ contributions and benefit event contributions made by individuals and businesses, the Women’s Centre of Montréal and the Foundation of the Women’s Centre of Montréal maintain a file in your name.
Your file contains all the information (except credit card numbers and banking information, where applicable) that you provide us with and that we require to register you for benefit events, to manage your donations and to send you official donation receipts, thank-you letters and invitations to future events, as applicable.
The only people with access to this information are specially authorized staff members of the Centre and Foundation whose duties require them to track registrations, manage donations and take part in periodic donor reminders and solicitations.
The Centre and the Foundation use the services of a Québec-based third party transmitter certified by the Desjardins Card Service to process electronic transactions.
Finally, we want to remind you that your personal information is held in our offices in Montréal. Subject to the exceptions provided by law, you may access it during normal business hours and you may ask for any corrections to be made that you deem necessary.
