The World March of Women is taking place this Sunday, October 17! All welcome!
On October 17th, 2021, on this International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, wear red! A red flower, a ribbon, a red garment in support of indigenous women and come join us to celebrate with the Montreal Coalition of the World March of Women, the 20 years of actions of the World March of Women (WMW) by continuing the fight for women's rights.
A march AGAINST violence and poverty! FOR climate and social justice! As well as FOR the rights of indigenous, migrant, immigrant and racialized women!
"Resist to live walk to transform".
The meeting point for the Centre will be at the corner of Lambert-Closse and Sainte Catherine streets near the Atwater Metro at 12:30 p.m. The walk will start at 1 p.m. and will last approximately 2 hours.
