Dear participants and future participants,

We would like to inform you of an important change regarding the eligibility criteria for our employment services. In accordance with new directives from the Ministry of Employment and Social Solidarity (MESS), starting February 1, 2025, temporary foreign workers (TFW) and their spouses will no longer be eligible for the employment programs and services offered by the Centre des femmes de Montréal.

What this means concretely:

• Starting February 1, TFWs and their spouses will no longer be able to benefit from our employment services.
• Those already enrolled in our services will be able to continue their participation until the originally scheduled end date.
• TFWs or their spouses who were recruited before February 1 may begin their participation in our programs, but it must be completed no later than March 31, 2025.

Exceptions: Certain exceptions apply to foreign students holding a post-graduation work permit.
