Because motherhood is a journey of growth and transformation, but most importantly, it is where one learns to become a mother. This experience, as enriching as it may be, comes with its share of joys and challenges. However, it can also provoke profound doubts and questions for women. It is with this in mind that, on the occasion of Mother's Day, the Montreal Women's Centre organized an event through its Cigognerie program dedicated to celebrating these everyday heroines. Under the theme "Come Closer and Discover the Best Mom in the World," this event was intended as a gentle and caring reminder to these women who sometimes forget the heroic strength that resides within each of them.
