The Women's Centre of Montreal is...
A place where women are welcomed with warmth and without judgment, and where they can find, with our help and the support of other women living through a similar situation, the tools to improve their circumstances and their families’.
A multiservice walk-in where women can access a full array of free professional services under one roof as part of an integrated approach.
An organization where we work, in collaboration with many other partners, to collectively build a future which we hope will be more peaceful and just for future generations.
A forum where Québécoise, immigrant and First Nations women share and exchange information on a variety of subjects, in a spirit of mutual aid and solidarity.
An internship host for the many students who come in seeking practical experience in their future profession.
The employer of a multilingual, dynamic team made up of 55 employees and almost 300 volunteers who respond to more than 35,000 requests every year.
A cause which, as for many of you, has been dear to me for the past 22 years now, and which enables us, all together, to make an appreciable difference in the lives of thousands of women and families in greater Montreal.
